Predict
This market will resolve to "Up" if the TSM/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the TSM/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the TSM/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/tsm-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink TSM/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-26T14:45:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may provide price targets and ratings based on fundamental analysis, this market represents the collective wisdom of traders reacting to a wider range of information, including news events, social sentiment, and technical indicators. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, as prediction markets can incorporate information more quickly and reflect a broader range of opinions about the TSMC stock market. This difference can be insightful for those seeking a more comprehensive view.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the TSMC stock market will close higher or lower by the specified resolution time. The price of these contracts directly reflects the probability of that outcome, as perceived by the traders. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe the stock will go up, the higher the price of the 'up' contract, and vice-versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market odds are constantly updated based on the latest information and trader sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the TSMC stock price closes higher or lower during the specified time window of 10:45AM-11AM ET on October 26th. The final price will be determined by publicly available market data from a reputable financial exchange. Traders will then be paid out based on their positions and whether their prediction aligned with the actual stock price movement.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before resolution. Major announcements from TSMC regarding earnings, production capacity, or new technology could have a substantial impact. Broader economic news, particularly related to the semiconductor industry or global economic growth, will also be closely watched. Geopolitical events, especially those affecting Taiwan, represent a key risk factor. Unexpected news regarding major TSMC customers, such as Apple, could also shift trader sentiment and influence the odds in this market.
