Steam publishes its Weekly Top Sellers chart every Tuesday at 1:00 AM Pacific Time, ranking the top 100 products in the United States by revenue over the prior week. This market will resolve according to the product occupying the #1 position on the Weekly Top Sellers chart for the United States, for the week of October 27 - November 3, 2026. Products will be ranked by their position on the specified chart. If two or more products are tied for any position, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the products' listed titles. This market will resolve to the product that occupies the specified position after applying this ranking. This market will resolve as soon as the relevant chart is published. If the Weekly Top Sellers chart for the specified week is not published within 7 calendar days of the expected publish time, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be the official Steam Weekly Top Sellers chart for the United States for the week of October 27 - November 3, 2026 (https://store.steampowered.com/charts/topsellers/US/2026-10-27), or through other official Steam/Valve channels.

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may base their predictions on pre-order numbers or marketing hype, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and real-time data. Discrepancies can arise from factors analysts might overlook, such as unexpected viral marketing or shifts in player preferences. It’s common to see this market adjust rapidly to new information, potentially diverging from initial analyst expectations regarding which game will claim the top spot.
On Polymarket, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. As more shares are purchased for a particular game, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability of it being the weekly best-seller. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share is determined by supply and demand, with traders constantly adjusting their positions based on new information and their own analysis of the Steam sales landscape. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of its participants.
This market resolves around Nov 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official Steam charts for the week of October 27 - November 3, 2026 are released and the best-selling game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official sales data published by Steam, determining which game achieved the highest revenue during that specific week. The market will then settle to reflect the actual top-selling title, providing a clear outcome for all traders involved.
Several signals could significantly move this market before Nov 4, 2026. Major game releases, especially highly anticipated sequels or new IPs, will undoubtedly impact the odds. Unexpected discounts or promotions on Steam could also shift player preferences and affect sales figures. Positive or negative reviews from prominent gaming publications and streamers can influence purchasing decisions. Finally, any news regarding development delays or controversies surrounding a particular game could lead to substantial changes in the market as traders react to the latest information.
