All markets resolve based on the Carbon Arc Sprite Point of Sale Growth index for September 2026, with each market requiring the index to exceed a specific threshold (ranging from 86 to 98). The index reflects year-over-year sales growth, where values above 100 indicate an increase compared to the same month last year. Determination for all markets uses the first value reported by Carbon Arc, and any subsequent corrections or revisions after settlement will not affect the outcome. The index is calculated using point-of-sale receipt data from both in-store and online purchases, captured through receipt-scanning and rewards apps, and matched to the same period in the prior year. The panel updates daily as new data becomes available. Kalshi explicitly states it is not affiliated with or connected to the underlying company, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
