Description

This set of markets tracks the performance of a major stock market index at a specific future date and time. Each market represents a different threshold value that the index must exceed for the outcome to be considered successful. These markets allow participants to speculate on the future health and growth of the broader market.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the S&P 500 index value at 1pm EDT on October 26, 2026. Each market has a unique threshold, specified as "X or above," meaning if the index closes above the given value (rounded down to four decimal places) at the specified time, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. All markets close on October 26, 2026, and expire at the sooner of the first official release of the index data or one week after the closing date. The Exchange has modified the Source Agency and Underlying for indices markets per the Kalshi Rulebook.
