This market will resolve to "Up" if the SKHYNIX/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the SKHYNIX/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the SKHYNIX/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/skhynix-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink SKHYNIX/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-20T05:30:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts might base their predictions on financial models and company reports, this market incorporates the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing interpretations of available information, varying risk appetites, or the inclusion of non-public information by traders. It’s common to see this market adjust rapidly to news and events, potentially outpacing the response of more conservative analyst reports.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether SK Hynix’s stock will be up or down by the specified date. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, creating a real-time probability assessment. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe the stock will go up, the higher the price of the 'up' contract, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the aggregated intelligence of the crowd and provides a unique perspective on potential future outcomes.
This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the SK Hynix stock price has increased or decreased during the specified timeframe. The final price change will be verified against publicly available financial data from established sources. Traders will then be paid out based on whether their prediction aligned with the actual stock performance at the time of resolution.
Several factors could significantly move this market before Oct 20, 2026. Major announcements from SK Hynix regarding earnings, new product launches, or changes in leadership would likely have a substantial impact. Broader economic indicators, such as inflation reports or interest rate decisions, could also influence the stock's performance. Geopolitical events and industry-specific news related to the semiconductor market are additional catalysts to watch. Unexpected news regarding competitors or shifts in global supply chains could also drive trading activity and alter the odds in this market.
