This market will resolve to "Up" if the QQQ/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the QQQ/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the QQQ/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/qqq-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink QQQ/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-29T16:00:00Z

Currently, it’s important to remember that this market represents the collective prediction of traders on Predict. Comparing this to analyst forecasts reveals how crowd wisdom differs from expert opinion. If analysts are largely bullish on the QQQ, but this market shows a more even split, it suggests traders perceive greater uncertainty or disagree with the prevailing expert view. Conversely, if both this market and analyst forecasts align, it indicates a strong consensus regarding the QQQ’s potential movement. It's a valuable way to gauge market expectations.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the QQQ will close up or down during the specified timeframe. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting the collective probability assigned to each outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means the price will change as more traders enter the market with their predictions, offering a real-time assessment of expectations. The current price reflects the market’s assessment of the likelihood of each outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the QQQ closing price between 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM ET on October 29th is higher or lower than its price at 12:00 PM ET. Traders will be able to see the final result and whether their predictions were accurate shortly after the closing price is established. This provides a clear and objective determination of the market’s outcome.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Oct 29, 2026. Unexpected economic data releases, such as inflation reports or GDP figures, could shift investor sentiment towards the QQQ. Major news events affecting technology companies – a key component of the QQQ – could also drive price movements. Furthermore, any significant geopolitical developments or shifts in Federal Reserve policy could influence market direction. Traders will be closely monitoring these signals to adjust their positions and refine their predictions in this market.
