This market will resolve to "Up" if the QQQ/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the QQQ/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the QQQ/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/qqq-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink QQQ/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-27T18:15:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may offer long-term predictions based on fundamental analysis, this market represents a short-term view based on collective intelligence. The question of whether prediction markets outperform analyst forecasts is a subject of ongoing debate, but this market provides a real-time assessment of expectations for the QQQ’s direction during a specific window. It’s a fascinating comparison to consider when forming your own opinion.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the QQQ will be up or down during the specified time frame. The price of these contracts directly reflects the probability of each outcome, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe the QQQ will rise, the higher the price of the 'up' contract will be, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism creates a real-time forecast of market expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the direction of the QQQ will be determined by comparing the price at 2:15 PM ET to the price at 2:30 PM ET on October 27th. If the price at 2:30 PM ET is higher than at 2:15 PM ET, the 'up' outcome will be considered correct; otherwise, the 'down' outcome will be considered correct. The resolution will be based on standard market data sources.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before it resolves. Unexpected economic data releases, such as inflation reports or GDP figures, could influence investor sentiment toward the QQQ. Major news events affecting technology companies, which heavily comprise the QQQ, could also cause price fluctuations. Furthermore, any surprise announcements from the Federal Reserve regarding monetary policy could trigger a shift in market expectations. Even general market volatility or a sudden change in risk appetite could impact the direction of this market.
