This market will resolve to "Up" if the QQQ/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the QQQ/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the QQQ/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/qqq-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink QQQ/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-19T18:15:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may provide price targets based on fundamental or technical analysis, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, representing what traders believe will happen in the short term. Discrepancies can arise due to differing time horizons, risk tolerance, or access to information. It's common to see this market anticipating moves before they are reflected in consensus analyst expectations, or conversely, discounting information that analysts deem significant.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the QQQ’s direction. The price of these contracts directly reflects the probability of the QQQ going up or down during the specified time window. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price is determined by supply and demand; if more traders believe the QQQ will rise, the price of the ‘up’ contract increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of participants.
This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the direction of the QQQ will be assessed based on its price movement between 2:15PM and 2:30PM ET on October 19th. If the QQQ closes higher than its opening price during that period, the ‘up’ outcome will be considered correct. Conversely, if it closes lower, the ‘down’ outcome will be considered correct. The final price will be sourced from standard financial data providers.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before Oct 19, 2026. Unexpected economic data releases, such as inflation reports or employment figures, could trigger a shift in investor sentiment towards the QQQ. Major news events affecting technology companies, which comprise a large portion of the QQQ, could also have a substantial impact. Furthermore, any surprise announcements from the Federal Reserve regarding monetary policy could cause volatility and influence trading activity in this market. Geopolitical events and overall market risk appetite are also key factors to watch.
