This market resolves around Oct 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the election results are verifiable from credible public reporting. The second-place candidate in the official Paraíba Senate election tally will determine the market's settlement, based on publicly available and authoritative news sources at that time.
Several factors could shift this market before it settles around Oct 5, 2026. Key events include debates, scandals, or policy announcements involving the leading candidates, which may alter voter perceptions and thus market probabilities. Regional polling updates, especially from swing areas in Paraíba, can also drive change. Additionally, any unexpected developments—like endorsements or economic shifts—might reshape trader expectations and move the odds significantly as the election approaches.
