Description

This market will resolve to "Up" if the NVDA/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the NVDA/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the NVDA/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/nvda-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink NVDA/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-22T18:00:00Z

You’ll also find the 24-hour trading volume, currently at $321, and the total volume traded to date, which is $330. The dashboard provides a real-time view of where traders are placing their bets, offering insights into expectations for the stock’s future direction.

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts frequently issue buy or sell recommendations based on fundamental and technical analysis, this market represents the collective wisdom of traders who are putting their capital at risk. Discrepancies can arise due to differing interpretations of information, risk tolerance, or the inclusion of factors not typically considered in standard financial models. It's common to see this market anticipate events or price in risks before they are widely acknowledged by analysts, or vice versa.

On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the NVIDIA stock will be up or down at the specified time. The price of these contracts reflects the probability of that outcome, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders adjust their bids and asks based on new information and their own analysis, creating a dynamic pricing mechanism. The more traders believe the stock will go up, the higher the price of the 'up' contracts will climb, and conversely for the 'down' contracts.

This market resolves around Oct 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the NVIDIA stock price at 2:15 PM ET on October 22nd is higher or lower than its price at 2:00 PM ET on the same day. The change in stock price during that 15-minute window will determine whether the 'up' or 'down' outcome is declared. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on their positions in this market.

Several signals or events could significantly move this market before Oct 22, 2026. Major news announcements regarding NVIDIA’s financial performance, new product launches, or changes in market share would likely have a substantial impact. Broader economic indicators, such as inflation data or interest rate decisions, could also influence investor sentiment towards technology stocks, including NVIDIA. Unexpected geopolitical events or industry-specific regulations could also introduce volatility and shift the odds in this market. Any developments affecting the overall stock market or the semiconductor industry are potential catalysts.
