Legislative elections to elect the House of Representatives of Morocco are scheduled to take place on September 23, 2026. This market will resolve to the next individual who assumes the office of Prime Minister (Head of Government) of Morocco, and whose government wins investiture from the House of Representatives in a vote of confidence, following the 2026 Moroccan legislative elections. To count for resolution, the government led by the individual must win investiture from the House of Representatives in a vote of confidence. Any interim, caretaker, or non-invested Prime Minister will not count toward the resolution of this market. If no such Prime Minister takes office by July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Government of Morocco; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional polling averages. While polls capture stated preferences, this market aggregates real-money wagers, potentially revealing more about what individuals *believe* will happen, rather than what they *say* will happen. Discrepancies can arise due to factors like strategic voting, information asymmetry, and the incentives inherent in wagering. It’s important to note that polls and prediction markets measure different things, and both can offer valuable insights into the potential outcome of the next Moroccan Prime Minister.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each potential candidate becoming the next Prime Minister. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the market price adjusts to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd. The market’s liquidity, indicated by the volume traded, also influences price discovery, with higher volume generally leading to more accurate pricing.
This market resolves around Jul 31, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official announcement of the next Prime Minister of Morocco by the relevant governmental authorities. The market will determine which candidate has been officially appointed to the position, and shares will be settled accordingly. It’s important to note that the official announcement is the determining factor, not interim appointments or speculation.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market. Major political endorsements, shifts in party alliances, or unexpected announcements from key political figures could all influence trader sentiment. Economic developments, such as significant changes in Morocco’s economic outlook, could also play a role. Furthermore, any major geopolitical events impacting Morocco’s stability could shift the odds. Public statements from potential candidates and any indications of support from the Moroccan royal family are also likely to be closely watched and reflected in the market’s pricing.
