The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time probability assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the aggregated wisdom of the crowd, and changes in price indicate shifts in market sentiment. Traders are constantly updating their positions based on new information and their own analysis, which drives the price discovery process.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether Netanyahu officially announces his withdrawal as a candidate before the scheduled election date. The market will then be settled based on this publicly available information, determining whether the ‘yes’ or ‘no’ outcome prevails. Traders should monitor news sources and official announcements leading up to the resolution date to stay informed about potential developments that could influence the outcome.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market. Any official statements from Netanyahu regarding his future political plans would be a major catalyst. Unexpected developments within his political party, such as internal challenges to his leadership, could also shift the odds. Furthermore, significant shifts in public opinion, as reflected in polling data, or major geopolitical events impacting the Israeli political landscape could all influence trading activity and move this market. Major legal rulings involving Netanyahu could also be a key factor to watch.
