These markets ask where Microsoft's stock price will close on the final day of trading during the week of November 2nd. The markets are structured as a series of binary questions, each representing a specific price range, with one market also asking about prices above a certain threshold.
This market will resolve according to the Close price for Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) on the final day of trading of the week specified in the title (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the relevant session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of that shortened session will be used. If the relevant day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle for Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.MSFT%2FUSD.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official "Close" price for Microsoft (MSFT) on the trading day specified in the title is strictly higher than the price specified in the title. A "Close" exactly equal to the specified price resolves to "No". If the market is not open on the specified day (exchange holiday or unscheduled closure), or Microsoft (MSFT) does not trade at all during that day's regular session, this market resolves 50-50 — each side is paid at half value; this is not a refund. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Microsoft (MSFT), this market resolves on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in the title is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Microsoft (MSFT) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/MSFT/ under "Historical Prices". If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Microsoft (MSFT) trades governs.
Prediction market odds often offer a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. Analysts may be influenced by company affiliations or biases, while prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incentivizing accurate predictions through financial rewards. This market, for example, reflects real money at stake, potentially leading to more accurate forecasts than those based solely on opinions. While analyst targets can be useful, the price action in this market provides a dynamic and continuously updated assessment of MSFT’s potential performance. It's a valuable data point for investors seeking diverse insights.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final price will be determined by the official closing price of Microsoft (MSFT) stock on the last trading day of the week of November 2nd, as reported by a major financial exchange. Traders will be able to see the verified result and the distribution of payouts based on their predictions. This ensures a transparent and objective resolution process for this market.
Several factors could influence the price action in this market before Nov 6, 2026. Major news regarding Microsoft, such as earnings reports, product announcements, or significant partnerships, could all trigger price movements. Broader economic indicators, like inflation data or interest rate decisions, could also impact investor sentiment towards tech stocks, including MSFT. Unexpected geopolitical events or shifts in market risk appetite could also play a role. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for traders looking to capitalize on opportunities in this market.
