This market will resolve to "Up" if the MU/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the MU/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the MU/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/mu-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink MU/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-30T17:00:00Z

Generally, prediction market odds reflect a different kind of intelligence than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts rely on financial models and company reports, this market aggregates the beliefs of a diverse group of traders. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, as prediction markets can sometimes incorporate information that isn't yet reflected in public analysis. Often, the market demonstrates a surprisingly accurate collective prediction, sometimes outperforming polls and expert opinions. This is because traders have a financial incentive to be correct, leading to informed and dynamic price discovery.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether Micron’s stock will close higher or lower. The price of these contracts reflects the probability of that outcome, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe the stock will go up, the higher the price of the 'up' contracts will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market odds are constantly updated based on the latest information and collective intelligence of the traders.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the closing price of Micron Technology, Inc. stock on October 30th, between 1:00 PM and 1:15 PM Eastern Time, will determine whether the 'up' or 'down' outcome is declared. The resolution will be based on a widely recognized financial data source, ensuring a transparent and objective determination of the result. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final outcome.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Oct 30, 2026. Major news regarding Micron’s earnings, new product announcements, or changes in the semiconductor industry outlook would likely cause price fluctuations. Broader economic indicators, such as inflation reports or interest rate decisions, could also influence investor sentiment and, consequently, the market odds. Unexpected geopolitical events or supply chain disruptions affecting the tech sector could also play a role. Any significant development impacting Micron’s financial performance or future prospects has the potential to move this market.
