This market will resolve to "Up" if the MU/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the MU/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the MU/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/mu-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink MU/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-29T19:30:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts for Micron. While many analysts offer price targets and ratings, this market provides a probabilistic view of whether the stock will simply be up or down at a specific point in time. This is a distinct question from predicting a precise price. The market aggregates the wisdom of many traders, potentially offering a more accurate signal than any single analyst’s opinion. It’s important to consider both sources of information when forming your own view on Micron’s future performance.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether Micron’s stock will be up or down by Oct 29, 2026. The price of these contracts directly reflects the probability of that outcome, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are constantly adjusting their positions based on new information and their own analysis, leading to dynamic price fluctuations. The more traders believe the stock will go up, the higher the price of the 'up' contracts, and vice versa.
This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the closing price of Micron Technology, Inc. stock on October 29th between 3:30 PM and 3:45 PM ET will be used to determine whether the market settles as 'up' or 'down'. A higher closing price than the opening price on that day will result in a positive outcome, while a lower closing price will result in a negative outcome. The resolution will be based on publicly available financial data.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before Oct 29, 2026. Major catalysts include unexpected earnings reports from Micron, significant announcements regarding new products or technologies, changes in overall market sentiment towards the semiconductor industry, and broader economic news that impacts technology stocks. Analyst upgrades or downgrades could also influence trading activity. Any news that alters perceptions of Micron's future prospects has the potential to shift the odds and drive price movement in this market, as traders react to the new information.
