This market will resolve to "Up" if the MU/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the MU/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the MU/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/mu-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink MU/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-27T19:45:00Z

Currently, the prevailing sentiment in this market is being shaped by traders’ expectations regarding Micron’s upcoming performance. These expectations are often compared to those of financial analysts, who provide forecasts based on fundamental and technical analysis. However, prediction markets like this one can sometimes offer a different perspective, potentially incorporating information and insights not fully captured in traditional analyst reports. It’s important to note that analyst forecasts are often point estimates, while this market represents a probability distribution of potential outcomes, reflecting a wider range of possibilities.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about whether Micron’s stock will be up or down. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective wisdom of the crowd. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates the probability that the market participants assign to the outcome, with higher prices suggesting a greater likelihood of the stock increasing in value. This dynamic pricing allows for real-time adjustments based on new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the closing price of Micron Technology, Inc. stock on October 27th, between 3:45 PM and 4:00 PM Eastern Time, is higher or lower than its opening price on the same day. The final price will be determined by publicly available financial data sources and will be assessed against established market standards to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will then be paid out based on the outcome.
Several signals and events could significantly move this market before it resolves. Key factors include any unexpected news regarding Micron’s financial performance, such as earnings reports or revenue projections. Broader macroeconomic trends, like interest rate changes or shifts in the semiconductor industry, could also influence trader sentiment. Additionally, announcements related to new product launches, major contract wins or losses, or significant changes in the competitive landscape could all impact the price of shares in this market. Any unforeseen geopolitical events or industry-specific disruptions could also play a role.
