This market will resolve to "Up" if the META/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the META/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the META/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/meta-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink META/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-30T18:00:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than many traditional analyst forecasts for Meta. While analysts often provide price targets and ratings based on fundamental analysis, this market represents the collective wisdom of traders betting on a short-term price movement. This difference highlights how prediction markets can offer a unique, real-time assessment of potential outcomes, incorporating a wider range of information and sentiment than traditional methods. It's a way to see what traders believe will happen, rather than what experts predict.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the Meta stock will be up or down by Oct 30, 2026. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, creating a real-time probability assessment. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the aggregated sentiment of all participants, and changes rapidly as new information becomes available or as traders adjust their positions. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to evolving expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the closing price of Meta Platforms, Inc. stock on October 30th, between 2:00 PM and 2:15 PM ET, is higher or lower than its opening price on the same day. The final price will be sourced from a widely recognized financial data provider, ensuring an objective and transparent determination of the market’s outcome.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before Oct 30, 2026. Major news announcements regarding Meta’s earnings, user growth, or new product launches would likely have a substantial impact. Unexpected macroeconomic data releases, such as inflation reports or interest rate decisions, could also influence investor sentiment and, therefore, the market’s price. Additionally, any significant regulatory developments or changes in the competitive landscape within the social media industry could create volatility and shift trader expectations regarding the Meta stock market.
