This market will resolve to "Up" if the META/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the META/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the META/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/meta-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink META/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-29T19:30:00Z

Currently, the collective wisdom of traders on Predict offers a unique perspective when compared to traditional analyst forecasts for Meta. While analysts often provide price targets and ratings, this market represents a probabilistic view of whether the stock will be higher or lower at a specific moment in time. It’s common to see divergences between prediction market probabilities and analyst opinions, as traders weigh different factors and react to news in real-time. This allows for a dynamic assessment of expectations, potentially highlighting areas where the market anticipates different outcomes than conventional analysis suggests.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether Meta’s stock will be up or down by the designated time. The price of these contracts reflects the probability of that outcome, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe the stock will go up, the higher the price of the “up” contract, and vice versa. This creates a fluid and responsive market that incorporates new information as it becomes available, offering a forward-looking assessment of Meta’s potential performance.
This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the Meta Platforms, Inc. stock price at 3:30PM-3:45PM ET on October 29th is higher or lower than its price at the start of the trading day. The final price will be sourced from standard financial data providers and will be used to determine which side of the market pays out. The goal is to provide a clear and objective outcome based on publicly available information.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before Oct 29, 2026. Major earnings reports from Meta, unexpected news regarding regulatory changes impacting the tech sector, or shifts in broader market sentiment could all influence trader behavior. Additionally, any significant announcements about Meta’s metaverse initiatives, artificial intelligence advancements, or user growth metrics could cause the odds to shift. Macroeconomic factors, such as interest rate decisions or inflation data, could also play a role, as they affect the overall stock market environment and investor risk appetite.
