This market will resolve to "Up" if the META/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the META/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the META/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/meta-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink META/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-27T18:30:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than many traditional analyst forecasts. While some analysts predict a continued upward trend for Meta, this market demonstrates a more nuanced view, incorporating a wider range of potential outcomes. It’s common to see discrepancies between prediction markets and polls or analyst reports, as prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd and allow participants to continuously update their beliefs based on new information. This dynamic pricing can often lead to more accurate predictions than static forecasts.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the Meta stock will close higher or lower than its opening price on October 27th. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective judgment of participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means the odds are not predetermined but evolve in real-time as new information becomes available and traders adjust their positions. The current price reflects the probability of the 'Up' outcome, as determined by the market participants.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the closing price of Meta Platforms, Inc. stock on October 27th, between 2:30 PM and 2:45 PM Eastern Time, is higher or lower than its opening price on that day. The final price will be sourced from a reputable financial data provider to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on their predictions.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before its resolution. Major news regarding Meta's financial performance, such as earnings reports or revenue forecasts, would likely have a substantial impact. Regulatory announcements, changes in analyst ratings, or significant developments in the technology sector could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected economic data releases, particularly those related to consumer spending or advertising revenue, could influence expectations for Meta’s stock. Any unforeseen events affecting the broader market, like geopolitical instability, could also contribute to price fluctuations.
