On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market’s assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand – if more traders believe an outcome is likely, the price of the corresponding contract will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date information and collective intelligence of the participants.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the officially reported average price per ad growth for Meta during its Q3 earnings release. Traders will then be paid out based on whether their chosen outcome aligns with the verified result. This provides a clear and objective determination of the market’s outcome, ensuring fairness and transparency for all participants.
Several factors could significantly influence this market leading up to resolution. Major announcements from Meta regarding advertising strategies or user growth could shift trader sentiment. Broader macroeconomic indicators, such as changes in consumer spending or advertising budgets, will also play a role. Unexpected news related to data privacy regulations or competition within the digital advertising space could also cause fluctuations. Furthermore, any revisions to analyst forecasts for Meta’s revenue could impact the price action in this market.
