On Predict, this market is priced using a mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in a particular outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. If many traders believe a candidate is likely to win, the price of shares representing that candidate will increase, and vice versa. This creates a dynamic and real-time assessment of the election’s potential results, driven by the collective intelligence of the crowd.
