This market will resolve according to the party nominee or independent candidate that receives the most valid votes from Leavenworth County in the election for United States Senator from Kansas, which is scheduled to be held on November 3, 2026. The candidates will be primarily ranked by the number of valid votes received in the specified election. If two or more candidates are tied on valid votes, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the candidate last names. This market will resolve to the candidate that occupies the highest finishing position after applying this ranking. The nominees of the Democratic and Republican parties are named in the contract for the convenience of traders. In the event that any named candidate is replaced as the nominee of their respective party prior to election day, the name in the contract will be updated and the market will resolve based on the replacement nominee of the party. If the results of the election in the specified county are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of Kansas, including the Office of the Secretary of State and the government of Leavenworth County.

Currently, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional polling averages for this election. While polls aim to capture a snapshot of voter intentions, this market reflects what participants believe will *actually* happen, incorporating a wider range of information beyond stated preferences. Discrepancies between the two can arise from factors like perceived poll inaccuracies, strategic voting considerations, or information not fully captured in polls. It's important to consider both sources of information when forming an opinion on the likely outcome of the Leavenworth County Senate race.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where participants buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the market price adjusts to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price is determined solely by supply and demand within Polymarket, reflecting the aggregated predictions of its users regarding the Leavenworth County Senate race.
This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the winner of the Leavenworth County Senate race is verifiable from credible public reporting.
