Legislative elections are expected to be held in Israel on October 27, 2026. This market will resolve according to the number of seats won by Religious Zionist Party–Zehut in the Israeli Knesset as a result of this election. If Religious Zionist Party–Zehut contests this election as part of a joint candidate list with one or more parties, all seats won by the joint candidate list will be counted. If Religious Zionist Party–Zehut merges with another party prior to the election, all seats won by the resultant merged party, or any joint candidate list through which it contests the election, will be counted. If the results of this election are not definitively known by October 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. This market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by Religious Zionist Party–Zehut in this election. This market will resolve based on the election results, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by Israel’s Central Election Committee (Va'adet HaBehirot HaMerkazit) (https://www.gov.il/en/departments/central-elections-committee/govil-landing-page).

Currently, prediction market odds suggest a high probability of RZP-Zehut winning a specific range of seats, as reflected in the pricing on Polymarket. However, it's important to note that these predictions can differ from traditional polling averages. Polls capture a snapshot of current voter intentions, while this market represents a forward-looking assessment of the most likely outcome, incorporating a wider range of information and expert opinions. Discrepancies can arise due to differing methodologies and the ability of market participants to react quickly to new developments.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes for the number of seats RZP-Zehut will win. The price of each contract reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The higher the price, the greater the perceived likelihood of that outcome. This dynamic pricing allows for a real-time assessment of expectations, influenced by news, events, and analysis related to the Israeli political landscape.
This market resolves around Oct 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final official results of the Israeli election are verifiable from credible public reporting. The number of seats ultimately won by RZP-Zehut in the Knesset will determine the winning outcome in this market. The resolution will be based on official announcements from the Central Elections Committee of Israel and widely reported by reputable news organizations, ensuring a transparent and verifiable process.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Oct 27, 2026. Major political announcements from RZP-Zehut or other key parties, shifts in public opinion revealed through updated polls, and significant geopolitical events could all influence trading activity. Unexpected endorsements or controversies involving party leaders could also cause the market to react. Furthermore, any changes to the electoral laws or the political landscape in Israel could lead to adjustments in the probabilities reflected in this market.
