This market will resolve to "Yes" if Iran publicly agrees to end all enrichment of uranium by October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An official pledge by Iran to end all enrichment of uranium will qualify for a “Yes” resolution, whether as a unilateral announcement or part of an agreement with the U.S. or Israel. Any agreement or pledge made before the resolution date of this market will qualify, regardless of if/when the agreement goes into effect. An agreement by Iran to end all enrichment of uranium for any amount of time will count. An agreement by Iran to end all enrichment of uranium as a precondition of a more comprehensive peace process or deal will qualify, even if the agreement is not finalized or part of a formalized peace deal. Agreements to merely limit or cap the level or quality of enrichment—such as reducing enrichment to below weapons-grade thresholds—will not qualify. The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.

Currently, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional polling data on the Iran nuclear deal. While polls often capture stated opinions, this market reflects what individuals are willing to *wager* on, potentially offering a more accurate signal of true beliefs. Discrepancies between prediction market probabilities and polling averages can highlight areas where public opinion diverges from perceived likelihood, or where information asymmetry exists. It’s important to note that polls and prediction markets measure different things, and both can provide valuable insights.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of Iran agreeing to end uranium enrichment by the specified date. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and evolving geopolitical dynamics surrounding the Iran nuclear deal.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether internationally recognized sources confirm a verifiable agreement by Iran to cease uranium enrichment activities by October 31. The determination will be based on official statements and reports from relevant international organizations and governments, ensuring a transparent and objective assessment of the situation. Traders should monitor news sources closely as the resolution date approaches.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Major developments in negotiations between Iran and world powers, such as breakthroughs or breakdowns in talks, would be key catalysts. Public statements from key political figures involved in the negotiations, including those from the United States, Iran, and European nations, could also shift the odds. Unexpected geopolitical events in the region, or changes in international sanctions related to Iran’s nuclear program, are additional factors that could move this market before Nov 1, 2026.
