This market resolves around Oct 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the election result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final tally of valid votes will determine the winner, and the market will close as soon as official results are announced and widely reported. No additional interpretation or external verification beyond publicly confirmed data is needed for settlement.
Several events could shift this market before resolution, including televised debates, major policy announcements, or changes in candidate viability due to scandals or endorsements. Shifts in voter registration numbers, especially within the riding, can also influence trader sentiment. Media coverage highlighting key issues or missteps may cause rapid price adjustments, reflecting updated expectations about which candidate is most likely to capture the seat.
