Opinion
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official "Close" price for Google (GOOGL) on the trading day specified in the title is strictly higher than the price specified in the title. A "Close" exactly equal to the specified price resolves to "No". If the market is not open on the specified day (exchange holiday or unscheduled closure), or Google (GOOGL) does not trade at all during that day's regular session, this market resolves 50-50 — each side is paid at half value; this is not a refund. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Google (GOOGL), this market resolves on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in the title is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Google (GOOGL) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/GOOGL/ under "Historical Prices". If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Google (GOOGL) trades governs.

On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the future outcome. The price of these contracts reflects the collective probability of the Google stock price being above its current value on Oct 26, 2026. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; increased buying pressure raises the price, indicating growing confidence, while increased selling pressure lowers it. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the latest available information and trader sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on the closing stock price of Google (GOOGL) on that date. If the closing price is above its current value, the market will settle in favor of the 'yes' outcome. If it is at or below its current value, the market will settle in favor of the 'no' outcome. The final price will be determined by publicly available financial data.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Oct 26, 2026. Major announcements from Google regarding earnings, new products, or strategic partnerships would likely cause price fluctuations. Broader economic indicators, such as interest rate changes or shifts in market sentiment towards technology stocks, could also play a role. Unexpected news events, like regulatory changes or significant competitive pressures, could also move the market. Additionally, any substantial shifts in analyst ratings or investor confidence in Google’s future prospects could influence trading activity.
