Official results from state election authorities and widely reported news sources will determine the paying contracts.
Several signals could shift this market before resolution, including debates, major news events involving the candidates, shifts in campaign financing, and evolving public opinion polls. Endorsements, controversies, or changes in voter registration numbers may also influence trader sentiment. As the election date approaches, any development that affects the perceived likelihood of a candidate winning outright without a runoff can cause rapid price changes on Polymarket.
