Resolves Aug 23, 2026
Polymarket
This market tracks whether Ethereum's price will exceed $2,300 on August 23, with aggregated data from Polymarket and Kalshi, resolving against Binance price data. The consensus probability for the leading outcome stands at 96.7%, with a secondary outcome probability of 3.3%. The final resolution will depend on the Binance ETH/USDT price at noon ET on August 23, 2026, marking the end of the betting period.
This market will resolve according to the final "Close" price of the Binance 1 minute candle for ETH/USDT 12:00 in the ET timezone (noon) on the date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is Binance, specifically the ETH/USDT "Close" prices currently available at https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ETH_USDT with "1m" and "Candles" selected on the top bar. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance ETH/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
The markets resolve based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Ethereum Real-Time Index (ERTI) immediately before 5 PM EDT on August 21, 2026. For each market, if this average exceeds the specified threshold (e.g., $850, $890, etc.), the market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. The official price is determined exclusively by CF Benchmarks' ERTI, with the final value being the average of 60 RTI prices collected in the last minute before expiration. External sources like Google or Coinbase are not authoritative for resolution purposes.
This market resolves around Aug 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Traders will watch exchange closing prices and on-chain data at the exact timestamp, with any official announcements or significant market moves serving as secondary checks. The process ensures a clear, objective result once the date passes.
Key signals include major Ethereum ETF flow announcements, U.S. or global macro policy shifts, network upgrades, and high-impact geopolitical events that affect risk appetite. Technical breaks above or below $2,300 could also trigger rapid repricing, while unexpected exchange outages or large whale transfers might create short-term volatility. Keep an eye on volume spikes and order-book depth as we near Aug 23, 2026.
