This market will resolve to “Yes” if this ballot measure is approved as a result of the Colorado statewide general election currently scheduled for November 3, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” If voting on the specified ballot measure does not occur, or the results thereof are not known definitively, by March 31, 2027, this market will resolve to “No”. Subsequent litigation or any failure to implement the measure will have no impact on the resolution of this market. This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official information from the State of Colorado, including the Colorado Secretary of State (https://www.sos.state.co.us/).

Prediction markets and traditional polls often diverge on policy questions because they operate on different incentives. Traders in this market face financial consequences for incorrect forecasts, which can sharpen accuracy on concrete events like ballot measures. Polling, by contrast, measures stated voter intent at a single moment and may reflect question wording or sample composition. For this particular outcome, comparing the market's implied probability to recent Colorado voter surveys can reveal whether traders expect higher or lower support than polls suggest, though both data sources inform different aspects of the forecast.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts buy and sell orders into a continuous probability range. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders purchase shares representing "yes" (the measure passes) or "no" (it does not), and the price of each share reflects the collective assessment of likelihood. As new information emerges or trading volume shifts, the odds adjust in real time. The current price directly translates to an implied probability, making it easy to see what the market believes about the outcome's chances.
This market resolves around Nov 4, 2026, after Colorado's election cycle concludes and results are finalized. The outcome will be confirmed once the ballot measure result is verifiable from credible public reporting. Traders should monitor official Colorado election sources and major news outlets as the date approaches to understand how the vote is tracking. Resolution hinges on whether the measure receives majority support among voters, making this a binary outcome tied directly to the democratic process.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before the deadline. Major court rulings on transgender rights or student athletics could reshape legal expectations and trader sentiment. High-profile incidents involving transgender athletes in Colorado schools might amplify public attention and sway opinion. Campaign spending, endorsements from prominent political figures, and organized advocacy efforts on both sides will likely influence the forecast. Additionally, national polling trends on LGBTQ+ issues and comparable ballot measures in other states could provide context that traders incorporate into their positions.
