This market resolves around Oct 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the election results are verifiable from credible public reporting. The final tally of valid votes cast in the Charlesbourg district will decide which candidate officially wins the seat. Until that point, any authoritative updates—such as advance-poll data releases or exit polls—could cause noticeable movement in this market.
Key debates, surprise endorsements, or shifts in voter registration numbers often drive volatility in this market. Media coverage of campaign mishaps or policy missteps can also cause rapid re-pricing. As election day approaches, early or advance voting figures may become available, offering traders new data points to assess before the final outcome is certified.
