Description

This set of markets will determine whether Bitcoin's price reaches various thresholds by a specific date and time. Each threshold represents a different price level that Bitcoin must exceed for the corresponding market to settle positively. The outcomes are based on a standardized, averaged price measurement from a trusted source at the exact expiration moment.

Kalshi

All markets share a common resolution mechanism based on the simple average of the sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' Bitcoin Real-Time Index (BRTI) immediately before 5 PM EDT on August 27, 2026. For any given market to resolve to 'Yes,' this average must exceed the specific threshold defined in that market's primary rule at the exact expiration time. Each threshold is sequentially higher, creating a tiered structure where exceeding any lower threshold automatically satisfies all markets with lower or equal thresholds. The official price is determined by averaging 60 RTI price readings collected during the final minute before expiration, ensuring precision and consistency across all markets. Secondary rules uniformly clarify that while public sources like Google or Coinbase may offer reference points, the definitive price comes exclusively from CF Benchmarks' BRTI, eliminating discrepancies from using alternate data providers.
