A presidential election is scheduled to take place in Amapá, Brazil on October 4, 2026. This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who receives the most valid votes in the first round of this election from Amapá. Candidates will be primarily ranked by order of valid votes won in Amapá. If two or more candidates are tied for any position, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the candidates’ listed full names as they appear in this market. This market will resolve to the candidate that occupies the highest finishing position after applying this ranking. If the result of this election isn't known definitively by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "Other". This market will resolve based on the result of the election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Brazilian government, specifically the Superior Electoral Court (Tribunal Superior Eleitoral, TSE) (e.g., https://dadosabertos.tse.jus.br/).

Currently, this market implies a very high probability for one candidate to lead in Amapá, which may diverge from public polling averages released by research firms. If surveys show a tighter race, this market could shift quickly as new data emerges. Traders often react faster than pollsters to local dynamics, media coverage, or campaign developments that might influence voter intent in the state.
This market resolves around Oct 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the election result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final tally of votes from Amapá will decide who achieved the highest vote count in the first round, closing this market definitively.
Local debates, endorsements from influential figures, voter outreach efforts, or any controversy involving the leading candidates can shift this market. Media coverage highlighting Amapá-specific issues, economic announcements impacting the state, or changes in candidate availability will also affect trader sentiment. As Oct 5, 2026 approaches, any final polling surges or mobilization reports may cause rapid price adjustments.
