Prediction market odds often differ from traditional polling averages because they incorporate betting behavior and financial stakes, which can reveal subtle shifts in voter sentiment not always captured by surveys. While polls provide snapshots of public opinion, this market reflects continuous trader assessment influenced by news, debates, and campaign developments. The gap between the two can highlight areas where market participants see value or risk differently than pollsters.
This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the election results are officially declared and verifiable from credible public reporting. The winner is determined by the valid votes cast in the Brandon MB mayoral election, and the market settles based on that verified result.
