PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Opinion markets use the same price source (Binance BTC/USDT) and the same timestamp (12:00 ET on August 23) to determine resolution, with identical boundary rules for range markets.Primary resolution logic: Binance BTC/USDT 1-minute candle close price at 12:00 ET on August 23

Core resolution logic:

  • Use the Binance BTC/USDT pair, 1-minute candle close price at exactly 12:00 ET (noon) on August 23
  • Range markets are exclusive lower bound, inclusive upper bound (e.g., $54,000-$56,000 means >$54,000 and ≤$56,000)
  • If price falls exactly on a boundary between two ranges, the higher range market resolves as 'Yes'
  • The '<$54,000' market resolves 'Yes' only if price is ≤$54,000
  • The '>$72,000' market resolves 'Yes' only if price is >$72,000

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Exact Boundary: If Bitcoin closes at exactly $56,000, the $54,000-$56,000 market resolves 'No' and the $56,000-$58,000 market resolves 'Yes'
  • Market Overlap: No overlap exists between markets — each dollar range is covered exactly once, with boundaries handled by the higher range rule
Timing: Resolution occurs after the Binance 1-minute candle closes at 12:00 ET on August 23, 2024Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms.
