This market will resolve according to the Close price for Apple (AAPL) on the final day of trading of the week specified in the title (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the relevant session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of that shortened session will be used. If the relevant day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle for Apple (AAPL) available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.AAPL%2FUSD.

Currently, the collective wisdom of traders on Polymarket suggests a different outlook than some traditional analyst forecasts for Apple. While many analysts predict continued growth, this market reflects a broader range of potential closing prices, with traders assigning probabilities to both positive and negative scenarios. It's important to note that analyst forecasts are often point estimates, whereas this market allows for a probabilistic assessment of various outcomes. Comparing the two can offer a more nuanced understanding of the potential risks and rewards associated with Apple stock.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing different potential outcomes for the Apple stock closing price. The price of each contract reflects the market’s current assessment of its probability. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price discovery process is driven entirely by supply and demand, with traders expressing their beliefs through their trading activity. This creates a dynamic and real-time reflection of market sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the Apple stock closing price for the week of October 19 is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final closing price, as reported by a major financial exchange, will determine which outcome wins. The market will then pay out to those who correctly predicted the closing price range. Traders should monitor official sources for the official closing price to understand the resolution of this market.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before it resolves. Major news announcements regarding Apple, such as earnings reports, new product launches, or significant changes in leadership, are likely to cause price fluctuations. Broader economic indicators, like inflation data or interest rate decisions, could also impact investor sentiment and move the market. Unexpected geopolitical events or shifts in the overall stock market could also play a role. Any information that alters perceptions of Apple’s future performance has the potential to shift the probabilities reflected in this market.
