This market will resolve to “Yes” if Cloudflare experiences any incident classified as Critical (red) as of the time it is marked as “Resolved” between market creation and the listed date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Classifications of an incident while it is ongoing will have no bearing on the resolution of this market. Only classifications of events that are resolved will be considered. Qualifying incidents include outages and other issues classified as critical when they are resolved, during this market's above-specified timeframe. An incident resolved outside this market’s timeframe will only qualify if ongoing at this market’s resolution time, in which case the market will remain open until that incident is marked as “Resolved,” and resolution will be based on the first impact classification thereafter, regardless of subsequent revisions or corrections. Revisions that upgrade an incident’s impact classification to Critical will qualify if the incident was resolved and the revision is published within this market’s timeframe. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Cloudflare (for example, on cloudflarestatus.com or cloudflarestatus.com/history); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of the event occurring, as perceived by the collective wisdom of the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price fluctuates based on supply and demand, influenced by news events, expert opinions, and overall market sentiment surrounding Cloudflare’s infrastructure security. The current volume of $22,975 demonstrates the level of activity in this market.
This market resolves around Jan 1, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether a significant Cloudflare incident, comparable in scale and impact to previous major disruptions, occurs before the resolution date. The determination will be based on publicly available information from reliable sources documenting the incident’s scope and severity, ensuring a transparent and objective assessment of the event’s occurrence. Traders should monitor news and security reports leading up to this date.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before Jan 1, 2027. A major security vulnerability discovered in Cloudflare’s systems, a successful large-scale DDoS attack targeting Cloudflare customers, or a significant outage impacting core Cloudflare services would likely increase the perceived probability of another incident. Conversely, positive news regarding Cloudflare’s security enhancements, successful mitigation of potential threats, or a period of sustained stability could decrease the market price. Monitoring Cloudflare’s official blog, security advisories, and news reports will be crucial for tracking these potential catalysts.
