This market will resolve to "Up" if the AMZN/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the AMZN/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the AMZN/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/amzn-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink AMZN/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-30T18:00:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may provide price targets and ratings based on fundamental and technical analysis, this market represents the collective wisdom of traders betting real money on a very specific short-term outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing time horizons, risk tolerance, and the incorporation of information not readily available to analysts. It’s common to see this market react quickly to news and events, potentially leading to divergence from consensus analyst expectations.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the Amazon stock will close up or down during the specified window. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a probability assessment. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust expectations as the event approaches. The current implied probability of the stock closing up or down is reflected in the contract prices displayed on the dashboard.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the closing price of Amazon stock between 2:00 PM and 2:15 PM ET on October 30th will determine whether the market settles in favor of 'Up' or 'Down'. The final price will be sourced from a widely recognized financial data provider, ensuring a transparent and objective determination of the result. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on their positions in this market.
Several signals and events could significantly move this market before it resolves. Unexpected earnings reports, major product announcements from Amazon, or significant shifts in overall market sentiment could all impact trader behavior. Macroeconomic data releases, such as inflation figures or interest rate decisions, could also play a role. Any news related to regulatory changes affecting Amazon, or unforeseen events impacting the broader technology sector, are potential catalysts. Even social media trends or influential analyst upgrades/downgrades could contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
