This market will resolve to "Up" if the GOOGL/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the GOOGL/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the GOOGL/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/googl-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink GOOGL/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-29T16:00:00Z

Currently, it's important to note that this market represents the collective prediction of traders on Predict. Comparing these odds to traditional analyst forecasts reveals how crowd wisdom differs from expert opinion. Often, prediction markets can offer a different perspective, potentially identifying signals that analysts may overlook. While some analysts predict a stable period for Alphabet, this market reflects the probability assigned by individuals actively trading on the outcome. It’s a valuable data point to consider alongside conventional financial analysis.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the Alphabet stock will be up or down during the specified time window. The price of these contracts reflects the probability of that outcome, as determined by supply and demand. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe the stock will go up, the higher the price of the 'up' contracts will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence.
This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the Alphabet stock price at 12:15 PM ET on October 29th is higher or lower than its price at 12:00 PM ET on the same day. The difference in price will determine whether the 'up' or 'down' outcome is declared. Traders will be able to see the final price data and the resulting resolution on Predict after the event has concluded.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before Oct 29, 2026. Unexpected earnings reports from Alphabet, major announcements regarding new products or services, or broader economic news impacting the tech sector could all cause shifts in trader sentiment. Regulatory changes, significant analyst upgrades or downgrades, or even unexpected geopolitical events could also play a role. Any news that alters the perceived short-term prospects of Alphabet stock is likely to be reflected in the trading activity and, consequently, the odds within this market.
