This market will resolve to "Up" if the GOOGL/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the GOOGL/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the GOOGL/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/googl-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink GOOGL/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-23T16:30:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may issue buy or sell recommendations based on fundamental and technical analysis, this market represents the collective wisdom of traders betting real money on a very specific short-term outcome. It’s common to see discrepancies, as prediction markets are sensitive to news events and sentiment shifts that analysts might not fully incorporate into their models. The market’s assessment can provide a valuable counterpoint to standard financial analysis.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether Alphabet’s stock will close up or down within the specified window. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a probability assessment. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means the price reflects the aggregate sentiment of all participants, and is not determined by any single entity or pre-defined formula. The current implied probability is driven by the latest trades and outstanding orders.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the closing price of Alphabet’s stock between 12:30PM and 12:45PM ET on October 23rd will determine whether the ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ outcome is declared. The resolution will be based on publicly available financial data and will reflect the actual stock performance during that precise 15-minute period. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the result.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before Oct 23, 2026. Unexpected earnings reports, major news announcements related to Alphabet (such as product launches or regulatory decisions), and broader market trends could all influence trader sentiment. Even seemingly minor news events, if perceived as having a significant impact on Alphabet’s short-term prospects, could lead to substantial price swings. Macroeconomic data releases and shifts in investor risk appetite are also potential catalysts that could drive trading activity in this market.
