Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often incorporating information and perspectives that might not be fully captured by traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market allows traders to adjust probabilities based on real-time information and their own assessments. Often, you’ll find that prediction markets are more accurate than sportsbook odds, especially closer to the event, as more information becomes available and is factored into the price. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing levels of liquidity and market participation.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. The current price indicates the market’s expectation of who will win the World Series of Darts final, with higher prices suggesting a greater probability of victory for that player. The volume traded also provides insight into the level of confidence and interest in each outcome.

This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
