Description

This event group tracks whether SpaceX (SPCX) will close above specified price thresholds during the week of August 17. The markets resolve based on the final trading day's closing price as reported by Pyth.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All markets use Pyth's closing price for SpaceX (SPCX) on the final trading day of the week of August 17 to determine resolution, with consistent threshold comparison logic.Primary resolution logic: Pyth (https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.SPCX%2FUSD)

Core resolution logic:

  • Closing price is taken from Pyth's 'Close' value of the 1-minute candle at the end of regular trading hours on the final trading day of the week
  • If the closing price is strictly above the listed threshold, the market resolves to Yes
  • If the closing price is equal to or below the threshold, the market resolves to No
  • If no valid closing price exists due to technical issues, the official closing price from the primary exchange will be used

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Trading Day: If SpaceX does not trade at all during the regular session of the final trading day, the market resolves 50-50
  • Stock Split Adjustment: In case of a stock split or similar corporate action, resolution uses split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth
Timing: Resolution occurs after the close of regular trading hours on the final trading day of the week of August 17, using Pyth's published closing priceOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for SpaceX (SPCX) on the final day of trading of the week specified in the title (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No". Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If SpaceX (SPCX) does not trade at all during the regular session of the final trading day of the week, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the relevant session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of that shortened session will be used. If the relevant day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle for SpaceX (SPCX) available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.SPCX%2FUSD.

Kalshi

Resolution is based on the NVIDIA B200 compute per hour value as reported by Ornn (https://dashboard.ornnai.com/) on August 28, 2026 at 4 PM ET. If no data is published by Ornn for the specified date and time, the most recently available published data will be used. The USD iteration of the index is used, with values rounded to two decimal places. Revisions to the underlying data made after the expiration time are not accounted for in resolution.

On Polymarket, the SpaceX weekly performance market shows near-certainty, with traders pricing in a strong outcome. Analyst forecasts often reflect broader market sentiment and fundamentals, which may differ from the binary, near-term focus of prediction markets. While analysts might weigh quarterly earnings or broader market trends, this market centers on a single week’s performance. The gap between analyst expectations and market odds can highlight short-term optimism or skepticism not always captured in traditional equity analysis. Traders react to real-time data and sentiment, sometimes diverging from longer-term institutional views.

This market resolves around Aug 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Traders will watch the company’s official disclosures, stock price action, and analyst updates throughout the period. The final determination hinges on whether the specified metric closes above the threshold at the exact close time, with no adjustments for after-hours trading or corrections.

Earnings reports, product announcements, or regulatory news can shift expectations rapidly. Macro trends like tech-sector volatility or currency fluctuations may also influence sentiment. Short-term trading volume spikes—especially on Polymarket or Kalshi—often reflect new information flow. Watch for analyst upgrades, supply chain updates, or investor conferences that could sway the week’s performance outlook. Any surprise guidance will likely cause rapid re-pricing.
