Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders, aims to reflect the true probabilities of the event occurring. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can dynamically adjust as new information emerges and more people participate. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially as the event draws nearer.
