Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If a significant discrepancy emerges between prediction market prices and sportsbook odds, it may indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that new information hasn't yet been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines.
