On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing system allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities in response to changing circumstances. The current price reflects the collective forecast of all participants.
This market resolves around Sep 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the women's tennis match, as reported by a recognized sports authority. This ensures an objective and transparent determination of the winning outcome. The platform will verify the result against publicly available data to finalize the market and distribute payouts to winning traders. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could shift trader sentiment. Major upsets in other related tournaments, or even commentary from tennis analysts predicting a change in form, may also influence the market.
