Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate beliefs from traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market aggregates trader sentiment on the exact scoreline, which may differ from what traditional oddsmakers publish. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees value or where sharp money is positioned. However, prediction market prices tend to be more efficient over longer horizons because traders face direct financial consequences for inaccuracy.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for each exact score outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each scoreline reflects the marginal probability assigned by the last matched trade, and all outcomes sum to 100 percent. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their orders, causing prices to move in real time. Kalshi's transparent order book allows you to see all pending buy and sell interest, making it easy to identify which exact scores are most contested or where liquidity is thinnest.
This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, once the match between Gaubas and Searle concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of the bout, with no ambiguity about which specific result occurred. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score receive their payout, while all other positions expire worthless. Resolution is typically confirmed within hours of the event's completion, allowing rapid settlement and capital redeployment.
Several factors could shift odds before the bout concludes. Injury reports, training camp updates, or public statements from either fighter may alter perceptions of likely outcomes and scorelines. Betting action from sharp money or syndicate groups often triggers repricing as other traders react to their positioning. Media coverage highlighting recent form, head-to-head history, or stylistic matchups can sway sentiment. Closer to the event, weigh-in results and final-day commentary from analysts may prompt last-minute adjustments. Real-time scoring during the match itself will ultimately determine which exact result materializes.
