Description
This market resolves based on the outcome of a best-of-three (BO3) Valorant match between QoR and Shopify Rebellion Gold in the VCL North America Stage 2 Swiss Stage, originally scheduled for March 24, 2026. The match determines which team advances or maintains their standing in the tournament's group stage competition.
Kalshi and Polymarket resolve on fundamentally different events. Kalshi resolves on match winner (either team winning resolves YES), while Polymarket resolves on specific map outcomes and match structure (Map 1 winner, Map 2 winner, games total, map handicap, and overall match winner). These are incompatible resolution scopes.
Hero Tip:
Do not cross-hedge Kalshi against Polymarket markets in this group. Kalshi's binary YES resolution (either team wins = YES) is logically incompatible with Polymarket's granular map-level and match-level outcomes. A Kalshi YES bet does not hedge Polymarket Map 1 or Map 2 bets. Treat these as separate event universes.
Critical Divergence Points:
Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi defines a single binary market where both possible match outcomes (Shopify Rebellion GC wins OR QoR wins) resolve to YES. This is a tautological market that always resolves YES if the match is played, regardless of which team wins. The resolution rule states 'If Shopify Rebellion GC wins...then the market resolves to Yes' AND 'If QoR wins...then the market resolves to Yes,' creating a market that cannot resolve NO under any realistic scenario where the match occurs.
Polymarket: Aligned with itself (no coalition partner): Polymarket defines five distinct markets with granular resolution criteria: Map 1 Winner (QoR or Shopify Rebellion Gold), Map 2 Winner (QoR or Shopify Rebellion Gold), Games Total O/U 2.5 (Over if 3+ maps, Under if fewer), Map Handicap QoR (-1.5) vs Shopify Rebellion Gold (+1.5) (QoR wins if 2+ map advantage, otherwise Shopify), and Match Winner (QoR or Shopify Rebellion Gold). Each market resolves to specific outcomes based on map results, with 50-50 resolution for cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, incomplete matches, or forfeits at the clinching map.
