Description

This market refers to the Valorant match between Joblife and Galions in the VCL France: Revolution Stage 2 Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 25 at 3:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Joblife" if Joblife win the match against Galions. This market will resolve to "Galions" if Galions win the match against Joblife. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Issue:

Kalshi market is logically incoherent and unresolvable. It states 'If Joblife wins... then resolves to Yes' AND 'If Galions wins... then resolves to Yes', meaning the market resolves YES regardless of outcome. Polymarket markets have coherent binary and conditional resolution logic tied to specific match outcomes.

Hero Tip:

Do not trade the Kalshi market. It contains a logical contradiction that makes it impossible to determine a false resolution state. Polymarket markets are tradeable and have clear, mutually exclusive resolution paths based on match results and map outcomes.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket: Four distinct markets with mutually exclusive resolution logic: (1) Match Winner resolves to either Joblife or Galions based on series outcome; (2) Map 1 Winner resolves to either Joblife or Galions; (3) Map 2 Winner resolves to either Joblife or Galions; (4) Games Total O/U 2.5 and Map Handicap have clear threshold-based logic. All markets include 50-50 resolution for cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, incomplete matches, or forfeits. Quote: 'This market will resolve to Joblife if Joblife win the match against Galions. This market will resolve to Galions if Galions win the match against Joblife.'
  • Kalshi: Single market with contradictory resolution criteria. States: 'If Joblife wins... then resolves to Yes' AND 'If Galions wins... then resolves to Yes'. No resolution path to NO is defined. This creates a logical impossibility where both mutually exclusive outcomes map to the same resolution state. Quote: 'If Joblife wins the VCL France... then the market resolves to Yes. If Galions wins the VCL France... then the market resolves to Yes.'
