Description

This market refers to the Valorant match between FURIA Esports and KRÜ Esports in the VCT Americas Stage 1 Group Omega, initially scheduled for April 25 at 5:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "FURIA Esports" if FURIA Esports win the match against KRÜ Esports. This market will resolve to "KRÜ Esports" if KRÜ Esports win the match against FURIA Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms apply identical resolution logic: markets resolve based on match outcomes (winner, map winners, map count) as officially reported by vlr.gg, with consistent handling of cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, incomplete matches, and forfeits.

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://vlr.gg; if results not published within 2 hours after event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting including video evidence may be used.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match Winner (BO3): Resolves to FURIA Esports if FURIA wins the series; resolves to KRÜ Esports if KRÜ wins the series.
  • Map 1 Winner: Resolves to the team that wins Map 1; resolves 50-50 if Map 1 is not completed.
  • Map 2 Winner: Resolves to the team that wins Map 2; resolves 50-50 if Map 2 is not completed.
  • Map Handicap (FUR -1.5 vs KRÜ +1.5): Resolves to FURIA Esports if FURIA wins 2 or more maps than KRÜ; otherwise resolves to KRÜ Esports.
  • Games Total O/U 2.5: Resolves Over if 3 or more maps are played; resolves Under if fewer than 3 maps are played.
  • Cancellation, tie, or delay beyond 7 days without winner determined: All markets resolve 50-50.
  • Match begins but incomplete with one team winning via opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover (except clinching map forfeit): Match Winner resolves to winning team; Map Handicap and Games Total resolve 50-50; individual map markets resolve 50-50 if that map is incomplete.
  • Clinching map forfeited: Counts as completed match; Map Handicap and Games Total resolve normally; Match Winner resolves to the team that clinched.
  • Pre-match forfeit/walkover/disqualification: Match Winner resolves 50-50.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Clinching Map Forfeit: If the series-clinching map is forfeited, the match is treated as completed. Map Handicap and Games Total resolve based on the final map count, and Match Winner resolves to the team that clinched the series.
  • Incomplete Match with Mid-Series Forfeiture: If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover before the series ends, Match Winner resolves to the winning team, but Map Handicap and Games Total resolve 50-50. Individual map markets resolve based on completed maps only.
  • Completed Maps in Incomplete Match: If the match begins but is not completed, individual map markets (Map 1, Map 2) resolve based on the completed map result if a winner was determined for that specific map.
  • 7-Day Delay Rule: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 25, 5:00 PM ET) without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication of match results by vlr.gg within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, or upon consensus of credible reporting if vlr.gg has not published within that window.
