Description

This market refers to the Valorant match between F9 EICAR and WIP Esports in the VCL France: Revolution Stage 2 Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 18 at 12:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "F9 EICAR" if F9 EICAR win the match against WIP Esports. This market will resolve to "WIP Esports" if WIP Esports win the match against F9 EICAR. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the outcome of the F9 EICAR vs WIP Esports BO3 match scheduled for April 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, with consistent treatment of cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, and forfeits as 50-50 outcomes.

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from vlr.gg; if unavailable within 2 hours of event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting including video evidence.

Core resolution logic:

  • The match resolves based on which team wins the best-of-three series.
  • If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • If the match begins but is not completed due to opponent forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover before the series concludes, markets resolve 50-50.
  • If the match ends due to the clinching map being forfeited, the match is considered completed and resolves to the winning team.
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward the series total and map-specific outcomes, provided the match is completed.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Clinching Map Forfeiture: If the final map is forfeited by one team after the series outcome is mathematically determined (e.g., 2-0 lead and Map 3 forfeited), the match counts as completed and resolves to the team that clinched.
  • Incomplete Match with Partial Forfeiture: If the match begins, one or more maps are completed, but the series is abandoned due to forfeiture before completion, the market resolves 50-50 rather than to the team leading in maps.
  • 7-Day Delay Threshold: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled April 18 date without a winner determined, the market resolves 50-50 regardless of whether play has begun.
  • Map-Specific Resolution with Incomplete Series: For Map 1 and Map 2 winner markets, if those specific maps are completed with a winner before the series is abandoned, those markets resolve based on the completed map outcome; only the series and handicap markets resolve 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official announcement from vlr.gg within 2 hours of event conclusion; if vlr.gg does not publish results within 2 hours, resolution is based on consensus of credible reporting and video evidence.
