Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Core resolution logic:

• Series Winner (Polymarket & Kalshi): Resolves to the team that wins 2 maps in the best-of-three. If match is completed via forfeit, disqualification, or walkover after play begins, resolves to the winning team. If match is canceled outright or delayed beyond 7 days without play beginning, resolves 50-50.
• Map 1 & Map 2 Winners (Polymarket): Resolve to the team that wins the specified map if that map is completed. If the map is not completed for any reason, resolves 50-50. If the entire match is canceled or delayed beyond 7 days without play, resolves 50-50.
• Games Total O/U 2.5 (Polymarket): Resolves Over if 3 or more maps are played; Under if fewer than 3 maps are played. Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, or walkover count toward the total if the match is completed. If match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without play, or incomplete with no winner determined, resolves 50-50.
• Map Handicap SEN (-1.5) vs EG (+1.5) (Polymarket): Resolves Sentinels if Sentinels wins 2 or more maps than Evil Geniuses; otherwise resolves Evil Geniuses. Forfeited, disqualified, or walkover maps count if match is completed. If match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without play, or incomplete with no winner determined, resolves 50-50.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

• Match begins but incomplete with mid-series forfeit: If one team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks over after play has begun, the match is considered completed and resolves to the winning team for series/handicap markets. Map-specific markets resolve 50-50 if that map was not completed.
• Match canceled or delayed beyond 7 days: If the match is canceled entirely or delayed more than 7 days from the scheduled date (April 26, 2026) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
• vlr.gg reporting delay: If vlr.gg does not publish final results within 2 hours after the match concludes, resolution may be based on credible consensus reporting and video evidence.
• Clinching map forfeited: If the map that clinches the series is forfeited, the match is still considered completed and resolves to the team that clinched. This counts toward Games Total and Map Handicap calculations.
• Team name discrepancies: Minor spelling variations, sponsor tags, regional identifiers, or formatting differences (e.g., 'Evil Geniuses' vs 'EG') are treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly identified within the competition.
